Power transformers require distinct expertise and experience in particularly insulation and cooling issues. AA GROUP is capable of Supplying, and testing power transformers up to 1000MVA, 750KV with its and international experience. Although they essentially have a similar structure, particularly the differences in customer requirements and specifications call for new design for each transformer. Therefore, AA GROUP Electrical and Mechanical groups handle each transformer separately. Distribution Transformers

Dry-type transformers

AA GROUP is capable of Supplying cast resin dry type transformers with below given technical characteristics according to customer requirements.

Insulation Material Temperature Classes: F (155°C) and H (180°C)

Low Voltage Winding Technology: Pre-impregnated with heat-activated epoxy resin

Casted with epoxy resin under vacuum

High Voltage Winding Technology: Casted with quartz filled epoxy resin under vacuum

Casted with glass-fibre reinforced epoxy resin under vacuum

Secondary Rack Insulators

For attaching secondary racks to tubular metal poles. Bands are equipped with 5/8″ x 2″ carriage bolts for attaching the racks, and 1/2″ x 1-5/8″ oval-shoulder clamp bolts for tightening bands on pole. Hot dip galvanized 1/4″ x 1-1/2″ steel. Made in two styles, the single type for attaching one rack and the double type for two racks.

 

 

 

 

 

FIBER GLASS ROD OF SILICON RUBBER INSULATOR

Fiber glass rod is used for production of silicon rubber insulator of electrical overhead lines. It is an important part of composite insulator and core material of composite insulator.Silicon rubber insulator is also recognized as composite insulator or polymeric insulator. One of its significant part,fiber glass rod, as it’s name, is made of fiber glass material and used as supporting core of silicon rubber insulator.  The fiber glass rod consists of dozens of fiber glass threads which makes it enable to bear high tension load in vertical direction. This is also why fiber glass rod is selected as supporting core of composite insulators, especially on tension type insulators and suspension insulators on electrical overhead lines. The rod of polymeric insulator has very good performance on mechanical tensile property, while its cantilever load performance is not so optimizing as the tensile property. Even though in certain projects we use polymer insulator post type in power substation, its bending load and deflection have some problem compared with traditional ceramic post insulator.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Polymeric Insulators-composite pin type insulator-plastic coachscrew insulator

Composite pin type insulator and plastic coachscrew insulator are the common polymeric insulators used on distribution lines. Composite pin type insulator, also called silicone rubber composite pin insulator or polymer pin insulator, can take place of the porcelain pin insulator and used on high voltage overhead distribution lines with the voltage ranging from 6KV to 36KV. Composite pin type insulator is as per ANSI C29.11, ANSI C29.17, ANSI C29.18 and IEC61109. Plastic coachscrew insulator is used on low voltage lines.

Aviation obstruction marking sphere is designed to provide the daytime visual warning or nighttime visual warning if comes with reflective tape, for electricity transmission line and overhead wire for aircraft pilots, especially cross river high voltage transmission lines.
